It was such a pleasure to document the exquisite wedding weekend of Alex & Gabriella. With family and friends flying in from all over the country to witness their union, it was a meaningful and fun event to capture. We enjoyed the island of Palm Beach and all of its splendor. You won’t find many images from the private and exclusive Bath & Tennis Club, at the venue’s request. Luckily, there is plenty of gorgeousness to soak up from the Brazilian Court Hotel and Royal Poinciana Chapel.
Let’s now all collectively gasp at the Kapoc tree on the water. For years, while living in West Palm Beach, I called this particular tree a Banyan tree, however, it is a Kapoc tree, I learned just this past weekend! If you Google “Kapoc tree” – our tree right here in Palm Beach often shows up first. It is known world wide. I have photographed families under that tree many times, always calling it a Banyan tree. 🙂
Often, my second shooter is Michael Landry, my partner both professionally and personally (insert collective “awww” here). Michael joined me this weekend and was responsible for some of this eye candy below.
Another wonderful part of this wedding weekend was the opportunity to work with Michael LaFrance of LaFrance Films | http://www.lafrancefilms.com | A true cinematic genius.
